CFA members provide capital to businesses that sustain millions of jobs at low risk to the banking system. Over 1000 senior commercial finance professionals registered to attend the three-day convention, whose theme in their 70th year was Turning Insights Into Opportunities. Convention attendees also heard presentations about the state of the secured lending markets, the outlook for the 2015 global economy and new technologies affecting the industry.
Founded in 1944, the Commercial Finance Association is the international trade organization representing the asset-based lending, factoring and supply chain finance industries, with nearly 300 member organizations throughout the U.S., Canada and around the world. CFA provides education, networking opportunities and industry advocacy to the global commercial finance community.
I am the incoming President for the local Philadelphia Chapter of the Commercial Finance Association and found it to be one of their best conferences ever. The value the CFA offers in education, networking and industry advocacy is invaluable to our industry. Our industry funds small businesses, and offers unique financing including factoring, asset based lending and equity finance. For more factoring information call Robinn Mikalic now 888.817.7310.
